Using Image Lightboxes

Image Lightboxes are a clickable link that opens an image in an overlay. These are indicated by a picture icon. Using lightboxes can help to save space in your content compared to inline images, keeping images out of the way until they need to be referenced.

To add an Image Lightbox to a page…

  1. Select the content you would like to make a clickable lightbox.
  2. Open the Document Manager menu. Please note that this is different to the Image Manager menu.
  3. Locate and select the image you would like to use.
  4. Set the CSS Class to be “fxImageLightbox”.
  5. Click the Insert button. Your selection will become an Image Lightbox for the selected image, indicated by the picture icon.
