Adding Document Download Links

Overview

The Ondexx Content Editor has the ability to add download links to various files in the File Manager to your content. This is done with the Document Manager menu, which can be accessed with document icon.

Clicking the document icon will open a version of the site’s File Manager, where the document to be embedded will be selected. Editors can also manage files and folders from this menu.

Adding Download Links

To insert a download link to a file in a component’s content…

1. Open the Document Manager menu.
2. Navigate to the file for which you would like add a download link.
3. Modify the fields on the right as needed:
   • Link Text will be the text of the inserted download link.
   • ID will add the entered ID to the created download link
   • Target will change the target of the download link
   • Tooltip will add the entered text as a hover-over tooltip
   • CSS Class will apply the selected CSS Class to the link
4. Click Insert to insert a download link to the selected file in your content.
