The Page Activity Log shows a page’s entire Activity Stream, and allows users with adequate rights to leave a comment on the page. This allows the review of various logged actions relating to the page’s development.
Actions logged in a page’s activity stream include…
- The creation of the page
- The page’s draft being saved
- Submission of the draft for approval
- Comments by Editors or Approvers
- Emails associated with the page being created, saved, or sent
The Activity Log can be accessed by users with Edit Pages, Approve Pages, or Certification-related rights. The View Page Activity right grants read-only access to the Activity Log, preventing the ability to comment.
The Page Activity Log can be opened in a page under Reports > Activity Log. For users who can comment in the Activity Log, they can instead click the Comment button.
The Activity Log can also be accessed in various editing workflow menus, such as the Page Editor, Draft Console, Approval Queue, and Page Version History.
