General Overview
Users designated as User Administrators gain the ability to manage Users at the instance level.
Unlike other rights, the User Administrator system-wide right is assigned directly to a user account, outside of sites.
User Admin Abilities
User Administrators gain the ability to view the User Management Console, found by navigating to Configuration > User Management Console.
The User Management Console allows users to:
- View all Users within entire instance
- Edit any User Profile (this includes email and Employee ID fields)
Assigning the User Admin System-Wide Right
The User Administrator right can only be assigned by Super Administrators or other User Administrators.
- Navigate to the profile of the user you wish to change. This can be done in a site-based user menu (i.e. Active Users…), or the User Management Console.
- Scroll to the section marked System-Wide Rights. Here you can modify a User’s instance-level rights.
- Under User Administration, check the box labeled “Can access User Management Console“.
- At the bottom or top of the page, click Update Profile.
- The selected User now has the User Administrator Right.
