What are Page Attachments?
Page Attachments is a new type of page component used to provide a dynamic list of files related to the page they are hosted in. This creates a simple, easy and convenient way to organize, store, and access related documents without having to give access to the file system.

Each attachment in the page can be made available for viewing in a Document Viewer. Additionally, the filename of attached documents become discoverable within the site’s search function.
Administrators can control who is able view, download, and manage attachments in the Site. As such, you may not be able to take all actions described in this article.

Viewing and Downloading Attachments
Double click an Attachment to open it in a Document Viewer or Image Lightbox. Alternatively, you can select “View” from the attachment’s dropdown menu.
To download an attachment, open the attachment’s dropdown menu, and select Download. Alternatively, you can select the attachment, and click the download button on the top right. Attachments can also be downloaded with the Download button in the Document Viewer.
Uploading Attachments
Attachments can be uploaded to the page by dragging and dropping them over the page component:

- Drag & drop the files from your computer over the Attachments component.
- If there are any other files you need to upload, click the +Add files… button, and select the additional files.
- Click the Start upload button to upload the files, adding them as Page Attachments of the page.
Page Attachments have support for file versioning. Simply upload a file with the same filename and extension as an existing attachment in the current page . It will automatically be updated to the newly uploaded version.
Removing Attachments

To remove a Page Attachment, simply open the dropdown menu of the attachment you would like to remove from the page, and select Remove.
Searching for Page Attachments
In Sites that use Page Attachments, users can search for attachment filenames and extensions in the Search Bar and Guided Search page with the Attachments search scope.
To enable the Attachments search scope in the Search Bar, simply click Options, and check the Attachments scope box. In the Guided Search page, the Attachments search scope will be enabled by default.
