Adding Audio and Video to Pages

General Overview

Ondexx has support for both audio and video media in Pages! These can be added to regular Page Components with the Media Manager. Videos from external sites (such as YouTube and Vimeo) can also be embedded into pages with the Insert External Video window.

Using the Media Manager (Internal Media)

Media Manager Overview

The Media Manager allows you to insert media files that have been uploaded to Ondexx, similarly to the Image Manager. You can also upload and manage files from this window.

Click the Circle Outline Play button icon to open the Media Manager.

Inserting Video/Audio

1. Open the Media Manager with the Circle Outline Play button in the Page Component you want to add media to.
2. Select the Media you wish to add from the file system. You can also upload files with the Upload button.
3. Edit the Properties of the inserted file if desired.
4. Click Insert. The media will be inserted at your caret.

Supported File Types

The following media files are supported by the Media Manager:

• .mp3
• .mp4
• .mov
• .avi

Inserting External Videos

Ondexx makes it possible to embed videos from external sources in pages.

To insert an external video…

1. Click the Solid Circle Play Button icon to open the Insert External Video window.
2. Insert the URL of the YouTube or Vimeo video.
3. Click Save to embed the video in your page.
