Using Default Page Components

Background

Default Page Components are a chapter-based option, causing the selected page components to be automatically added to new pages in the chapter.

If pages in a chapter always use the same components, configuring default page components can save time when making new pages. When combined with component templates, creating standardized pages can become extremely simple.

Default page components are managed from the Edit Chapter menu.

Note: Default page components only apply to new pages. They do not retroactively apply pages that have already been created.
