The Red Wolf team is excited to present to you the new Ondexx 5.0
In this release, the new features have been made available to all Ondexx Users in your company.

Highlights
Layout & User Interface Changes
- The User Interface and User Experience has been modernized.
- Improved layout for mobile devices
- Improved layout for larger monitor sizes
- Improved layout above-the-fold to maximize view
- Improved responsive layout for all buttons and widgets
- Sticky Headers — a smart navigation tool that fixes the menu, search, and breadcrumbs to the top of screen as the user scrolls down a page
- The Page Actions call out has been replaced with inline buttons to provide easier access to this functionality
- All basic user page actions have moved to the new Page Actions area just below the page title.
- The Page Labels now displayed inline below the page title
- The Page Outline functionality has replaced Tab View and is generally available
- The Details area of the page now opens as an overlay in order to maximize the space available for displaying content
- Improved access to Individual notification settings
- All Forms have improved layouts
- User Profile Avatars are no longer supported and have been removed
Search
- The Search-As-You-Type input has been redesigned to make optimal use of space and to better present its results.
- New Sticky search button
- Search button opens as an overlay once input is hidden by scrolling,
- Allowing users to search from anywhere in the page
- New Search Hotkey
- Click the forward slash (/) key now brings the search input into view & focus (i.e. you can immediately start typing your query)
- Entering a Page ID (or the URL of a page) into the search input will navigate you to that specific page
- Searching on “Title” now includes Module titles and Chapter titles in the results
- Searching on “Full-Text” now includes:
- Home Page content
- Module Listing content
- Chapter Listing content
- Component Titles
- Search Filters option has been redesigned and optimized
- Note: only filters with selected options will be activated
- Search Options has been redesigned and optimized
- Guided Search, Label Search and Help Button are now more accessible
Hot Keys
A Hotkey, also known as a keyboard shortcut; is a key or a combination of keys providing quick access or to a particular function.
Below are the new Hotkeys for Ondexx 5.0
- / for search
- [ toggle Page Outline open or closed
- ] to toggle Page Details overlay open or closed.
- The details include all of the page’s properties, attributes, certification fields, and other information
- ESC to close any open user feedback messages
Ondexx’s other keyboard shortcuts include:
- CTRL + UP/DOWN to toggle all twisties in a page open or closed
- CTRL + SHIFT + UP/DOWN to toggle all components in a page open or closed
- CTRL + F will open all components and twisties in a page to support a browser’s native in-page search function
